The Bully by Jem
Fear streams through my veins,
my hands start to shake,
my heart beating faster than ever,
my face flushed,sweat on my brow.
trapped in that corner no way out will the sense of entrapment ever disappear?
a few seconds,its gone then the bully reappears.
no words involved now just intimidation,
just fear.
they can see what there doing,
they can see the pain,
if not one then its another,
shouting and screaming.
there words have ruined me
i just cant think,
standing there in that little corner,
surrounded by fear.
my eyes flooding me with tears.
what should i do now,
all beaten and bruised,
do i tell mum and dad,
i don't no what to do,
the lies i told before,
i fell mum, hit the door,
the bleeding barely stopped then,
my cuts much deeper here,
i just cant move.
still in that corner,
the bully has gone now,
the blood seeping through my shirt,
an attempt to wipe the blood from my face,
i feel the cut,
a sharp throb across my arm,
i daredn't look,
i see a puddle on the floor,
not rain, blood.
i looked into it deeply,
tried to gather my thoughts
pick my self of the floor,
i am feeling dizzy,
still looking into that deep red ocean on the floor,
the puddle quickly growing now,
what have they done,
i tried to fit in,just to be me.
guess i wasn't good enough, not the right kind,
always the one left out,
the one with all the bruises and stitches,
a heap on the floor still in that corner,
hidden behind the bike sheds,
no one will find me here.
i drag my broken body across the floor,
knowing now i wont make it home,
i open my mouth to shout for help.
theres no one around.
no one to here my cries,
i guess the bullies done it now,
Ive just been left here to die.
i was in this situation once but luckily i spoke out!
