I’m glad to be your friend,
And I’m happy to be there,
I love you too,
And yes I care.

But can you please?
Just stop pushing me away?
Because I can’t take it,
Day after day.

I listen to you,
But you don not let your thoughts go,
I wish you would open up to me,
That you would let me know.

No, I would never force you,
But it’s breaking my heart,
That you keep pushing me away,
It’s tearing me apart.

I can’t stand it,
That you’re in so much pain,
I cry because your heart is breaking,
All over again.

I want to help you,
I want to try to sooth your pain,
I want to help you,
Through all of your rain.

But you stay mute,
Push me away,
Send me a hug,
With nothing else to say.

You’re doing it again,
After you said you wouldn’t,
You promised me but I guess,
The promise is broke now and it shouldn’t.

Can you stop killing me?
Stop pushing me away,
Even though you might not,
I’ll always be there for you each day.

I can help you,
One day you will open your eyes and see,
That I can truly help you,
To finally feel a little free.
