My Tears by BehindBlueGlass
A tiny drop of sorrow,
Trickles down my tired face.
I can't fight back the painful tears,
That threaten to take my grace.
I won't let you see me cry,
I will force my ache away.
Never showing my true emotion,
My sanity will stay.
But I can feel my grip loosening,
As my pride begins to die.
Slowly falling down lives stairs,
My eyes won't seem to dry.
Constant pools of torment,
Form around my feet.
Here I am drowning in myself,
Praying for an empty seat.
Up there inside of heaven,
I hope theres a place for me.
A special spot where I can smile,
Where my tears, I can let free.
Without feeling like I don't belong,
A place where I can stay.
And never again think of the pain,
That forced my tears away.
