Living? by Jem

I'm living form moment to moment,
not even day to day,
it feels as if this darkness will never go away,
I'm cold co cold my soul cannot feel the sun.
there was once a point to my existence,
but now my race is run,
i came last of course.i always do,
i never expected to win,
but it would of been nice to of had that chance,
to avoid this state I'm in.
i no theres no sure way to end it,
to cease to feel this pain,
but I'm afraid id still be that failure,
and wake to face it all again,
I'm afraid to live afraid to die,
i cannot make that choice,
my friends tell me to do something,
but fear has stilled my voice,
so i have to continue in this dark and joyless life,
until i get so desperate to chose,
DARKNESS OR THE KNIFE.
