I'll Never Get The Chance... by -Anti-Poet-
A poem about a girl I've known for two days... but a girl I know I love.
I’ll never get the chance to act on how I feel,
An emotion that is strong enough to break my heart of steel.
I’ll never get the chance to take you on a date,
To hold your hand while we watch a movie that’s barely second rate.
I’ll never get the chance to hold you in my arms,
To hug you close and protect you from all of this worlds harms.
I’ll never get the chance to walk a moonlit beach,
To hold your hands and imagine that the stars are within our reach.
I’ll never get the chance to see if we could make it,
To see if we could find true love or if the world would take it.
I’ll never get the chance and I guess I’ll never know,
But I know that I love you, this one true fact I know…
