No matter how hard i try
i still want to die
i want to enjoy life
but instead i turn to a knife.

I'm mad during the day
and so sad at night
i wish there was a way
i could stand and fight,

but instead i turn off the light
and stay out of sight
because I'm ashamed that
i cry myself to sleep at night.
