I came too close to losing you,
I was pretending I didn't care,
What really surprised me was you still loved me,
Even though I haven't always been there.

I came too close to throwing it away,
I had no use left to try,
It was like it seemed you moved on and started a new life,
And inside I wanted to die.

I came too close to saying goodbye,
And it was a mistake I really regret,
I'm going to make it up to you so many times,
So soon you're able to forget.

I came too close to dying,
I was so sorry for what I did wrong,
But we made up and are best friends again,
You were the sole one who makes me strong.

I came too close to pushing you off the edge,
And losing you forever,
But you're my sissy and I love you!
We're going to make it through together.

Kristen, I'm sorry for all of those things I have done,
In time I hope we can be close again like we were,
You are my angel and I'm holding your hand always,
And I PROMISE I'm always going to be there.

*Stupid poem, I know, but I just wanted to let my big sister Kristen know how much I regret everything.*
