Dear Kit,

I'm gone now and you'll never get my letter. I'm sorry that I had to break your heart by not coming back.I was willing to stick out my neck for my country even if it meant life or death. I never lived to regret what I said or what I did. I'm here in your dreams so no more nightmares so wipe those tears. I didn't plan on leaving this way. I was trying to save a baby girl who reminded me of you so when i was leaving I pulled out the picture of you and your brothers and clinched it tight in my hand. I hope you stand tall and proud cause we are Americans. I died for this country and for the flag that blows in the wind over my grave I died for you and the home of the brave. I just hope my Baby girl knows her daddy was a soldier. I just thought I would tell you I love you and good bye.

Thanks for all you've done I just can't believe your gone but you'll live on through me. You'll guide me constantly.I cry in loving memory of you the one person who was always true. Even though your gone you still mean the world to me All you ever did you did it with feeling and you always found a meaning and you always will. I love you I just hope you know I write to you tonight cause it comforts me.
