Our love was forbidden
and never meant to be

We were so close over the years
we use to wipe away each other's tears

that will make this heartache go away.

i use to long for for the day to come when we would embrace
i would have held you tight and keep you near
take away those bad dreams and calm your fears.
But now that's all only dreams
for our love is forbidden so it seems
what we had is now in the past
it was never destined to last.

each waking moment I'm reminded of you
and as long as your memory Remain's in my heart
we will always be together and never will part.
