One last time

It over powers mine.

I saw us hand in hand
with that sparkle we once had in our eyes
Loving each other
But in time that sparkle dies.

I dreamt of all the good times
But then remembered all the bad
There were so many
But I remember all that we had

I saw once again
That caring smile
wishing once more,
That it would stay awhile

In the dreams that I dreamt
They hurt me more then you would ever know
Even though, it was you I saw
I knew it was you I had to let go
