Mommy I’m going to go take a bath
I will only be a little while
She said to her mom with a shrug
And her famous fake smile
Her mother just nodded a yes
Went back to reading her paper
She had no idea
Of what she was going to find later
Running the water as hot as can be
Almost hot enough to burn her skin
This brought out her deepest anger
And the sadness she was hiding within
Feeling her heart beat a little bit faster
And her brain starts to go silent
It’s things like this that shut of the world
They make her life slowly become quiet
Within an hour the heat is not enough
And it is not giving her the release she craves
She knows there is only one thing left to do
Without a second thought, she grabs the blade
Slowly humming a sweet lullaby
Quietly only for herself to hear
Making each tiny cut
Knowing now, death is near
After ten, she goes in deeper
Only drawing more blood
It’s like all her thoughts are being shown
In this deep crimson flood
Cutting every inch of her broken body
She knows now this will be her end
Saving the best for last
She cuts her wrists, as death slowly begins
The heat of the water, burns every new cut
Scorching her body like fire
She knew this was her only way out
This pleasure was something she always desired
The power she has holding this blade
knowing that she can end her own existence
Humming death’s lullaby, she cuts deeper
Not showing any resistance
Her body becomes pale and weak
And her eyes will close, never to open again
Blood flowing till she has drained herself
No longer will she have to feel pain
Not making a sound
As the dead girl forever sleeps
Her body awaiting to be found
Putting her into the ground satisfying her needs
