Broken promises, Shattered dreams.
Crimson Puddles and tears in streams.
Torn down hopes and bleeding cuts.
Razor Blade kisses. Eyes sealed shut
A heart too broken to feel any pain.
A body too weak to breathe again.
A girl too tired to scream out loud.
A girl too weak to make a sound.
Sick of the promises and dreams that cant be real.
Sharp sudden relief from a world she doesn't want to feel.
The blade cuts through. Deep tracks in her skin.
Sinking to floor she quickly gives in.
Given up on her hopes and embraced all her fears.
Forgotten all the smiles and remembered all the tears.
Now she cries for the blade to heal her pain.
Crying with that ounce of strength that somehow still remains.
She has broken all her promises.
Her dreams are ripped to shreds.
There is nothing left for her to do.
But wish herself dead.
She carries on to cut. Until she can bleed no more
All her hidden feelings, drip slowly to the floor.
Slowly letting go. Slipping away from her life.
Pools collecting on the floor, reflecting all her strive.
Now no one could possibly ignore her. Or pretend they do not see.
Finally she has escaped her prison.
