We were heading in the right direction
until he made a resurrection
and changed my world to what it is today
now with a broken heart and tears i pay.

Tonight when he held you close you seemed so high
you never notice the tears in my eyes
i thought you were an angel sent from above
i thought i had finally found my true love.

but now i realize my thoughts were merely dreams
he means the world to you now it seems
