Winter by Rachel E. Pilger
As the winter comes the summer flees for he does not want to melt up this beauty.
For the sun has rays like a lion but winter stays soft and mellow like a sheep in the meadow.
So goodbye lion for it is time to shear the sheep white with snow.
Then comes spring, all is well for the time to play has come,
so goodbye lion and goodbye sheep I will see you again next year.
Then I can build snowman and then build a tree house,
I can finally jump in leaves again and frolic through all the flowers.
Oh what wonders the seasons bring and the new years that they make.
