Setting Sun by Devin M. Kelly
What is a setting sun without the magnificent features of a simple creation called a beach?
With the thousands of swaying, towering palm trees bordering the shore like a frame?
With the sand sprinkled from above along the coastline. And the foam from the sea making a bubbled line along the pathway.
With the turquoise ocean, like a rare jewel, drifting beyond reach into the infinite horizon.
With the so-called line drawn between the sky and sea, separating them from each other's way.
With the countless clouds in the sky floating on their many, invisible, moving tracks.
With the blueness before an eye from the chair of a patio.
And the many ripples among the tie-dye sky.
What is all of this without a little setting sun slowly falling into the deep puddle of blue?
Soon to be a half sphere, the golden ball of fire soon hides its face from all present, and peeks up for someone else.
