Oceans by Debbie Al-Dairy
Last night I dreamed of the Ocean,
She was the color of my soul,
And moonlight tip-toed across her waves
As she crashed and banged and rolled.
She held the starlight captive
Within her indigo hues,
Buried those jewels deep in her soul
To add magic to her blues.
She called to me in whispers,
Her cool breath caressed my skin.
And she managed to seduce me
With tales of where she'd been.
Last night I let her take me
In her large cool arms,
And drown me in her beauty
As she hypnotized me with her charms.
She held me tight and stroked me
With her fingers of velvet blue,
And I gave myself up to her
As I'd always known I'd do.
Last night I dreamed of the ocean
she was the color of my soul.
