Morning In Nova Scotia by Heather T. Young

Along a coast of lavender lupine
I watch the early piercing sunrise
I have never seen nature so supine
Its galore catches me by surprise
Waves roll gently to the shore
Their sound is a lullaby
Sea life is reclaimed
by its home once more
In a golden sky
the seagulls gracefully fly
Wind blows through the wild grass
As I walk on the soft sand
A weathered, wrinkled man is fishing for cod and bass
I admire the mystical land
Sunlight is reflected on the water
On the waves,
silver streaks of light are captured
In nature's rhapsody I love to saunter
Within nature I am accepted.
