Moving to Florida... what a treat
Now I only see people
Living on the streets
Three Hurricanes came our way...
Nature really committed a mistake sending them to the Sun Shine State
Florida simply got in their way
So they almost swept us away...into the ocean by pure mistake
Send no more elderly...send them away
Let them all stay where they are today
For Florida can't take care of all those loving years
And give them the peace that brought them here
Tourist who are looking for adventures of the parks
Will always come back for a better luck
The excitement found here will surely survive
and a lot to talk though out the rest of their lives
Florida the blessed land of sun and glory
will always be the place to stay
For those who want to jump and play
So, don't worry by the passing fury,
they're only here to enjoy as part of the states' show
Only the brave are here today
Rebuilding our place...the Florida Way
And asking God to send all the other Hurricanes in a different manner
And not touch Florida with their hammer
How wonderful to know in God's glory
His blessing will always be found today and tomorrow
The sun will come out to a new brighter day
and we'll all celebrate...
That the sunny days are back to stay
