Duped Forever More by Karyn D. Taylor
What can I say, I have been duped
I know that it is peculiar, this way, to say'I love you
But it is true' there is no other
Who can make me appreciate spring on a cool winter day
Imagining the crimson pink blossoms that bloom
Or exaggerate the eternal light of a perfect sphere
During the first-quarter of lunation of the northern moon
Who could illustrate for me the meaning of sheer bliss
Fusing a tinge of laughter, passion and sanctuary into one
Or summon a feeling that haunts me so sweetly
Now chanting once a dormant soliloquy that was meant for none
Yes, it is true'there has been no other, there will be no other
'Cause as each day passes, I am more duped by you
To My Husband on Valentine's Day 2005
Look north to the evening sky
