My love for you burns
Like a candle in the night
In the darkness of our souls
It creates the light.
In the trenches of our minds
And the caverns of our souls
It's something you can feel
But cannot touch or hold.
Your eyes contain the stars
And your smile's like the sun
Every time I see you
I know you are the one.
Forever you will know this
And I pray that you'll stay mine
For if love is light, then you shine
And I'm so glad that your light is mine.
