the light

the spark

shining deep within

i loved everything about you

you let me see what no one else could

the secrets

the pain

you tried to mask it

let no one in

but me

when i left

it was just you

i wasn''t as strong as you

the pain was too much

i left you

alone

and soon your smile

faded

your eyes

clouded

it wasn''t long before

the light

the spark

went out
