Heart, shall we two choose to forget-
the tenderness of a loving kiss?
Nay, not the memories of love yet,
for such a thing we would miss!
So, it is that such a thing will dwell,
in the chambers of this failing heart;
that love may make this heart well,
and with this life, not so easily depart.
So long as lives love, so lives thee;
that thy breath may be love's emblem,
thy soft spoken words... love's memory,
and thy life- love's undying hymn!
