Sometimes when I look around
I can see shadows of a different me
I can see where I used to be

Sometimes I try too hard,
And the emptiness doesn't go away

I can imagine that I've given you up

Sometimes when I shower- I can wash clean
All the things to me that you mean,
But I know it disappears as soon as I,
Step outside the curtain to get dry
But sometimes in the shower... I can wash clean.
