The day I found the note,
My heart began to stall,
Over the few words he wrote,
"I won't miss you at all."

I thought about it for so long,
Kept blaming myself for his mistakes.
I knew what he did was wrong,
But I had to take him back.

The day he found my note,
His heart came crashing down,
Over the few words I wrote,
"I'm leaving 'us' behind."
