I travel done this road
That many people have traveled on
Some couldn’t walk so many miles
Others have walked strong
Sometimes this road would bring obstacles
That was so hard to get through
Some people have got over them
Some people quit without a clue
There were days on this road
When the light was so dim
Other days have been so dark
People hung on by a limb
I have been pushed done on this road
And boy does it hurt
There were many textures of the road
Grass, concrete, and dirt
You will pass happy days
Other days you’ll be very down
Most the time you find your walking alone
You won’t see one person around
Sometimes it gets very hot
Other times this road is cold
You just have to tell yourself you can get through
You need to be brave and bold
When you feel your body being dragged
And you feel you have no strength
You’ll have to use your mind to say you’re a winner
Because we can all travel any length
There will be times on this road
Where you feel you want to give up right there
But there are people who travel on the same path
Who will actually lend a hand and care
Sometimes it is easy
Other times you’ll go through strife
But we all have to do it
Travel on the road so called “life�
