First Day Of School by Billie

On the first day of school,
nobody ever thinks its cool.
Its and early rise for some,
and most don’t even want to come.
Once everybody slowly arrives,
most of them still have sleepy eyes.
Then they get all their class schedules,
everyone scurries to their class before the bell.
They all get to see the old, some new, teachers,
and get too see all the different features.
We get to meet and greet the new kids,
and show them all that we did.
Most of us hope that the day ends quick,
and if none of us get in trouble, that’ll be slick.
