Curiosity by Natalie
Curiosity is an innocent child,
Yet it comes on strong,
not too mild.
With full Force,
it comes through the door,
Making your spirit beg for more...
You never know when Curiosity
will attack.
With eyes open wide,
he comes and you're trapped,
And you just have to peek.
Little sister is talking on the phone
And Curiosity just won't leave
you alone.
Then he calls out one more time.
So what do you do?
You pick up the line.
Your sitting at the table,
and playing cards,
And Curiosity hits you,
and he hits you hard.
So you lean to the left just
a little bit more-
You happen to see what
you little sister's hand stores.
He's always there;
he's a regular pest.
Inside you soul,
he won't let you rest.
He'll never leave you,
Because he can't.
He'll always remain,
singing hes chant.
"Do it; Listen; Take a peek.
Be a sport; Be a sneak.
You won't get into trouble for
nobody cares;
You just have to know
what's happening in there!"
This short little chant that
he always sings...
Makes you always get into
troublesome things.
Then Temptation sets in;
he's Curiosity's friend.
And then it seems that there's
just no end.
To the things that you'll do
when Curiosity's home.
In your soul,
He just won't leave you alone.
