This Last And Final Night by *Amanda*

What are we doing here?
In the same old place, again
Wondering, hoping, wishing
That we could still be friends.
It's all a lie,
A blur like a cloud;
None of it was real, none of it was loud.
Like the waves that used to crash
Along the beach when I wrote our names out:
Friends forever
But it was washed away.
We look blankly to each-other
Wishing only to know what to say.
The silence is pounding
It leaves us both afraid
So alone in this cruel, harsh world
Every-thing's fake.
What happened?
Where did we go?
Can I cry now?
Because emotion is so hard to show
I only want you to hold on to me
But you just can't fight
So we both say good-bye
This last and final night.
