I hate to say goodbye
i fear its the only way
your promises were broken

i cant believe you lied to me
we were supposed to be the best of friends

i tried to help you once
and tried to make you understand

and it was selfish to be that way

goodbye to a best friend
perhaps a letter
maybe an email
doing it in person
would be way to hard
