The Friend is a kind and caring person,
Who could never commit any arson.
The Friend is there whenever you need her,
Whether it's because people aren't being tender,
Or just being mean.
She's there so you don't cause a major scene.
The Friend may appear as an angel, all in white,
Or she may just appear normal and in plain sight.
She's there to listen and lend an ear,
If you are crying and shedding more than a tear.
If you need a hug, The Friend is there
She's just like a big teddy bear.
Whenever you have a problem and need to talk
The Friend sees with eyes like a hawk.
She's there to listen, help, and advise,
Even when there's no sobs or cries.
The Friend is there for you forever,
No matter how long or hard of an endeavor.
She'll be there for you no matter what,
Whether it's a major catastrophe or a simple cut.
