From going on Alex's boat and drinking at the park

to singing in the rain and giving massages in the dark

from sneaking out of our houses in the middle of the night

to  going to crickets house chasing girls we wanna fight

pizza is the only food all of us ever eat
and the pizza place became a place for everyone to meet

you walk up the avenue and see at least ten of your friends
this summer is so great we don't want it to end

we'll go from watching movies and always buying cookie dough
to wearing heavy jackets and shoveling out the snow

billy and Joe are gone and soon Chrissy will say goodbye
we'll never forget the memories of summer 2005
