Promises by Razorblade

I miss you so much
I don't think you understand
It kills me that your not around
I just really need to hold you hand

I'm sorry I ruined us
I didn't mean to hurt you
Believe me
That's the last thing I'd ever want to do

You meant so much to me
And you don't even know
The sad truth is that you never will
Because I had to go

I can't talk to you, for fear of you yelling at me
I just want to make things right and then
I swear I'll let you go
And let you be on your own again

I know that nothing will be the way that it was
But can you really blame me for trying?
I'm sorry that I annoy you
I'm just tired of crying

Friends forever, don't you remember that promise?
It was made long ago, now interrupted
With new friends, and new promises
Long forgotten and corrupted

Against my wishes
Our friendship has blown up in my face
What can I do to change this?
I know that you I can't forever chase
