I met a guy from Georgia
A very good friend indeed
We have a lot in common
Yet sometimes disagree
We both have our beliefs
And can be stubborn at times
But seem to both understand
That the world takes all kinds
He makes me laugh when I’m down
And sometimes comes on too strong
Cos I know I’m always right
Even when I could be wrong
You cannot depend on him
For keeping all times and dates
Although you can count on him
To let you know not to wait
And even though he sometimes
Seems more trouble than he’s not
I cherish our friendship much
And hope that it never stops
