My Best Friend.....Goodbye by Emma
I met her when i was only four,
She came half way across the country, to live right next door.
From that day on we were never apart,
She had a pretty big space, deep down in my heart.
until that one day when our friendship had to end,
The day i lost my very best friend.
We were walking home from school in the pouring rain,
We were having A stupid fight over a pathetic game.
She dashed out onto the road, just a little too fast,
I never knew those moments with her, were going to be my last.
I went to her grave once, but i couldn't stop crying,
I wish she'd come back, but ther's no point in trying.
I know we'll never again be together,
But in my heart, she'll stay forever and ever.
This poem is dedicated to my best friend Annie. I will never get over her death, because i loved her with all my heart like a sister.
