I Love My Dog, Brandy by CrazyWaterBottle (NightTears)
*This poem is about my baby girl, my dog, Brandy. I used to live with my aunt Wendy, and she has the dog. I would appreciate if you read the whole poem... Sorry for it's length*
I love you baby girl
You mean so much to me
I won't be able to let you go
Just watch, you’ll see
In a few months time
A vet says you’ll die
I can’t let it happen
It won’t be another reason I cry
There’s just one obstacle
Stopping me from this
It’s my “ex-aunt Wendy
Why is she acting like a witch?
She hates me cause of Mom
So why are we to blame?
You were my best friend
And alone, I feel insane
To others you’re just my “old dog
To me you were my heart
I love you so much Brandy
From the end to the start
I won’t let you die, I can’t
I need you though you’re far away
I wish I could pet you, hug you
I think of you every other day
Why can’t she let me see you
Why is she doing this to me
It hurts so much inside
I’m trying to tell her, help her see
For now baby girl
I’ll dream of you always
I look at your picture
And remember the better days
When your months come up
I’ll take you away
I’ll be your protector
Safe with me you’ll stay
I won’t let you die
I’ll be your watcher
Death will be warned:
“No one can stop her
I love you Brandy
I’m here for you
Love always, Jessica
Forever and true
