Its time i let you go
time i wake up to
the reality of this world.
i am closing this heart
from further use.
so i can guard it and
keep it safe.
stupid me realiese that
you were never mine
nor me yours.
and now i must go
before you realise what i did,
how i felt and what i wanted.
because it hurts to much
to see you smile
to see you laugh and grin.
but most of all it hurts to much
to know i was so blind.
i was stupid enough to
follow my heart
but i lost you from the start.
