Dying Friendship, Should I Bother? by CrazyWaterBottle (NightTears)

Why do you raise my hopes?
Do you enjoy toying with me
Making me believe that we’ll
Be the way we used to be

Best friends is what we started at
Call each other every night
Talking for hours at a time
Into the early morning light

Things happened, problems started
I wish I could remake everything
Because my life’s different
I don’t like how I’m living

We never talk to each other
As we pass each other by
Our eyes are glued to the fool
We can’t look at each other, why?

She loves you, you love another
Your life is crazy
That’s why I stay away
So many girls already, you don’t need me

I told you my worries
I told you how I feel
Our friendship was so corny
It never even felt real

Why did this happen to us?
We trusted each other
You don’t seem to care anymore
So I don’t even think I should bother…
