I keep it locked away with a golden key,
my biggest ever secret, known to you and me,
Opened up my heart and began to share,
knew you wouldn't judge, and that you would care,
Knew that you would listen and never even blame,
knew you'd never leave me and we would be the same,
I'm glad i told my secret or I'd of been depressed,
blaming myself for it all, i would just be stressed,
I have been through so much, you never left my side,
thank you for comforting me and for being my guide,
I would never tell another soul this i have told you,
cause i trust you with my life, with everything i do,
You have done so much from when i turned to you,
my family would blame me and I'd end up feeling blue,
I know you will keep it to yourself , this is my belief,
sharing this problem with you gives me some relief,
You are very beautiful on the inside, i can proudly shout,
a really great treasure that will always help me out,
Jade i can honestly say, I'm honored to have you,
I am so glad you showed me, i could help me too,
So i love you girl and I'm not afraid to say it loud,
cos you are my Bessie and of you i am so proud,
You are like a dream that not many get to live,
cos you have the ability to share and to give.

Just wrote this to my best friend cos i was going through depression and i had no1 to talk to and i am so lucky!!! She convinced me that i wasn't to blame and i still sometimes feel like i was. Please comment, i know it's not my best but wahey it's my thoughts! :)
