Grandma by Heather D. McGehee

It's been three years
Since God took you from this place, but
You hold a special place in our hearts
That no one could ever replace

Through good times and bad
You were always there
Even though sometimes
We didn't act like we cared

When we were down
You always knew
Just what to say
And what to do

Your smile could light up any room
Your laughter would feel the air,and
I'll never forget the times all of us kids.
Sat with you in your chair.

It's times like that
We'll cherish forever
And hope someday
We will all be together

So Grandma to us
You will always be
The most special person
We ever did see
