Daddy by Heather A. Gregory

How could you hurt her like that?
How could you do those horrible things?
She never hurt you.
All she did was love you.

Do you think that I'm stupid because I am young?
Do you think that I'm blind?
I see everything that goes on.
I see you raise your fist to her face.

How could you not love me?
How could you not hug me?
I'm not invisible.
I called you my superman.

Why did you say those horrible things?
What possessed you to say things like that?
I loved you.
I cared for you.

Sadly, I don't care for you anymore.
You disappointed me on many occasions.
So, goodbye forever.
You shall remain at the back of my mind forever.
